The law and order is working on the same formula that is finding some dead body and then investigating people and blaming one who has not committed the crime and then moving on to further investigations and making way for the criminal and then trying him and then sentencing the criminal. That is it. With loads of drama packed with action. And you might be thinking that this formula till now has went old but for your surprise It has not.

Third reason: they are very good at making stories and for making some dramatically emotional story they are not afraid to kill your favorite characters. You might have seen a number of family members of the main characters of the story murdered and dying.
